Where do I begin? The last week has been a whirl-wind-kind-of-a-week. Chad's grandfather passed away peacefully at home on March 6th. Chad was with him when he passed, which was a wonderful blessing. We will miss our "Papa" dearly, but will continue to celebrate his amazing almost 94 years!
Yesterday was my "Big 30!" The day started with a great laugh. Chad was on kid duty, so I slept until 7:45. That's late for me! He came in to wake me up and told me to look outside...he openned the drapes in our bedroom and to my surprise, there were 60, I repeat 60 pink flamingos in my front yard. In addition to the flamingos was a huge sign with a spot light that read Happy 30th Birthday Molly. My little sister Jill (Ellen too) came up with this plan and got the rest of the MN clan to contribute. It was hilarious. Jackson was a huge fan of the "Pink Ducks." When we left for school he said, "Bye ducks I'm going to school. Be good, don't fly away." On our way home he said, "Hi duckies, I'm home." To end the day, Chad and I had a wonderful dinner at McCormick and Schmicks. We will definitely be going back.
As I type...I'm sitting at Childrens Hospitals of WI. Jackson had his tonsils out this morning. This has been a long awaited surgery. We're hoping this will help with his breathing and snoring. We are very blessed he's been a rock star patient, so far!
Charlie...he continues to grow like a weed. He's up to 20 pounds. He got this third ear infection this week and his first tooth. Poor guy!
