Feeling Crazed!
This has been a crazy week...packing, organizing, meeting with realtors, painting, planting...this list keeps on going! I'm looking forward to getting this work done, getting the house on the market and hopefully selling fast. Charlie had his first swimming lesson this week...he LOVED it. He is definitely a water baby. Jackson had a play date with his favorite friend Nora today. It rained all day today, so we went to The Big Backyard (indoor playground) and the kids ran like wild animals. Now I'm off to watch a movie with Chad...oh wait, who's he...? I haven't seen him in days...we've both been working like dogs and just keep passing each other in the house. It's all worth it. MN here we come.

The Police Man
The Elm Grove Police showed up at my Mother-in-laws house today...hmmm??? He said someone from her house dialed 911 and hung up?!
Could it have been a little two-year-old?
Candy and Jackson had been upstairs playing office (which means pushing buttons on her office phone) and jumping on her bed. He must have dialed 911 and they hung up...came back downstairs and went outside. Next thing we know the police are at her house. Jackson asked why the police man was at Nonny's house and we told him he called him on the phone. He said, "I no get in trouble." We explained that we can't play with the phone and that the police man was worried about us so he was making sure we were safe. It's so hard explaining a situation like this to a two-year-old. He then got to sit in the car, see the flashing lights, watch daddy on the camera, etc. It was a fun experience, but I don't think there will be any button pushing in the near future!

Charlie bit my arm...
I'm sure most of you have seen the YouTube video...Charlie bit my finger. Well, today at the Hegwood house we had our first case of little brother, bites big brother. They were both standing at the coffee table looking at books. Charlie wanted the book Jackson was reading, so he grabbed his arm and "chomp!" Jackson was ready to "crack" him over the head, but Dad thankfully was sitting right there and told Jackson to use his words and not hit. So, Jackson turns to his brother...points his finger and says, "No No Charlie, don't bite." And so the fun begins!

Day One of "At-Home-Mom"

My first day home was just Charlie and me (Jackson goes to school on Mondays and Wednesdays.) We had a great day playing, reading, standing, walking around furniture and working on a daily napping routine. He hasn't had a routine the past six months, that's going to change. The other part of my day was spent scheduling swimming lessons, Charlie's one year old check-up, filling out Pre-school paperwork, etc. I got a ton accomplished!
Day Two of "At-Home-Mom"

Day two we dyed Easter Eggs. Auntie Ellie and Uncle Ryan were in town so we had a great time together making a mess and trying not to mix colors. Ellie doesn't like it when you mix colors...it doesn't matter if you're only two. Jackson also had his first taste of a hard boiled egg....he was a fan of the "white part."
