Deployed
This post is for Ryan. We will miss you the next seven months and can't wait to see you at Christmas. You are a wonderful young man and my sister's lucky to have you has her "side kick!" We are lucky to have you as part of our family! God Bless you, America and all your men.

There are no words!

I'm so thankful for modern technology. My parents could never have documented me holding my sisters hand in the car, save it to their iPhone, download it to a computer and share it with all their family and close friends on a blog. Wonder what the boys will be able to do with the technology in 25 years?
Shish Kabobs or Birthday Cake...depends on who you ask?
Chad and I were making shish kabobs for dinner last week. Our little helper made them into birthday cake. He stuck three skewers into the pepper and burst into song..."Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to MEEEEEEE, Happy Birthday to me!" Then..."How old are you...THREE...
It was a good laugh!

Gag Reflex
The boys and I came to MN on Thursday and like always one of them got sick while we were here. Jackson had a fever on Friday and Saturday. So, I decided to say through the day today so he could get a nice long nap...in a bed, not in his car seat. My mom and I took the boys to the grocery store to pick up a few things for lunch and dinner. Jackson, for the first time, pushed his own "shopper in training cart" (which I had to supervise) and my mom pushed a "big cart" with Charlie. We were cruising through the grocery store, quite smoothly I might add, until we reached the dairy section. Jackson and I were following behind my mom and Charlie...next thing I know, Charlie had dropped a glass jar of baby food on the ground. Needless to say, we had a huge mess! I thought this was bad...oh, it gets worse...Jackson starts PUKING on top of the baby food. He's got the worlds worst gag reflex. So picture this scene, broken jar of baby food on the floor, puke next to it, a two year old saying "Mimi I puked...I puked", puke running down his arm...and my mom LAUGHING hysterically! Thanks Mom! I have to admit, it was hysterical and I was laughing the whole way to the bathroom. When Jax and I returned from the bathroom my mom was still in the dairy section laughing and we moved on and finished our shopping. Priceless!
