The Hegwood's had a wonderful Christmas. We spend a week in WI, with Chad's family and catching up with most of our friends. Our trip to Chicago and our evening with the Malayter's were canceled due to bad weather...we were mad at mother nature, but except the face we live in the Great White North. When we returned to MN we spend Monday my family which was wonderful! Now we need a few days to relax.

Charlie had his first "time-out" and had to sit in the corner. I had to leave the room, because I couldn't help but laugh. He kept looking down and then he'd peek at me and quickly look down again...all while saying, "so sorry...so sorry!"
Jackson got new ice skates. Living in the land of "Hockey" I figured he'd better start learning how to skate. I pulled him down to the lake in the sled...which was a workout for me but very fun.
He LOVED skating and I must say he's a natural. He got right up on his skates and starting going...he didn't even bend at the ankles. Chad and I might have a future of cheering on the bleachers in the skating rink. It might be a tough decision for him when he starts ski lessons next winter...you can only play one winter sport when you get into school.
